Higher education can do more than stimulate the mind.
Students in the popular and provocative human sexuality course at Northwestern University were invited for an optional demonstration after class on Feb. 21 in which a naked woman was penetrated by a sex toy until she reached sexual climax, The Daily Northwestern reported.
About 120 students voluntarily stayed for the extracurricular activity organized by professor John Michael Bailey. Guest speaker Ken Melvoin-Berg, co-owner of Weird Chicago Tours, led the "Network for Kinky People" panel, which included several women.
Before a woman onstage disrobed, students were repeatedly advised that they would see explicit content.
The woman then used a machine with a graphic name to stimulate herself to the point of ejaculation, a topic that had been recently covered in class, Bailey said.
"It was a fun and educational experience," Melvoin-Berg told the Chicago Tribune. The students ""seemed to be incredibly pleased. We had a number of them that got closer and closer."
The rousing performance caused controversy on campus and around Chicago, leading Bailey to write a lengthy defense of his decision to allow the demonstration.

"I hesitated only briefly before saying yes. My hesitation concerned the likelihood that many people would find this inappropriate. ... [But] those still there had stayed for an optional demonstration/lecture about kinky sex and were told explicitly what they were about to see," Bailey wrote.
Bailey added that student feedback was "uniformly positive" and vowed to continue his fight against efforts "to silence sex research."
Bailey's class is one of the most popular at the college, with about 600 students registered for it. The semester is packed with other optional panels after class that have included talks with sex offenders and a question-and-answer session with a swinging couple.
Northwestern University President Morton Schapiro issued a statement on Thursday stating that the school had opened an investigation into the incident, and claiming the demonstration "represented extremely poor judgment on the part of our faculty member," according to FoxNews.com.

Expanded orgasm is any sexual experience more intense and extensive than what can be described as, or included in the definition of, an ordinary orgasm.[1] It includes a range of sensations that include orgasms that are full-bodied, and orgasms that last from a few minutes to many hours.[2] The term was coined in 1995 by Dr. Patricia Taylor. It was used in her Ph.D. research of intense sensual experiences of 44 couples from various backgrounds and referenced in a video she produced in 1998.
Distinguishing features of expanded orgasm are energetic sensations and contractions all over the body, especially in the abdomen, inner thighs, hands, feet, and genitals. Dr. Taylor describes reports of practitioners going into various altered states of consciousness, bringing about deep emotional release and rejuvenation, profound spiritual experiences, having awarenesses not normally perceived in regular orgasm, and perceiving energy expanding beyond the limits of their bodies.[3][4] Similar experiences were reported in studies by Dr. Jenny Wade,[5] and by David Deida.[6]

Participants in Dr. Taylor’s study entered into expanded orgasmic states using various sexual practices or modalities. The top four modalities were; manual self-stimulation (60%), manual stimulation from a partner (35%), intercourse (30%) and oral stimulation (15%).[7] Dr. Taylor presents techniques for entering these states in her book Expanded Orgasm,[8] and in a DVD[9] and in her 21 Day Program for Partners.[10]
Expanded orgasm is likely to be related[11] to experiences reported by Osho[12] and Margot Anand (valley orgasm) as described in her book The Art of Sexual Ecstasy,[13] Drs. Steve and Vera Bodansky (Extended Massive Orgasm),[14] Drs. Alan and Donna Brauer (Extended Sensual Orgasm),[15] More University (e.g., Schwartz[16]), Otto (whole body orgasm), Welcomed Consensus (DOing), Nicole Daedone of OneTaste (Orgasmic Meditation[17][18] ), Erwan Davon, and practitioners of neotantra and sex magic. For example, Brauer, Bodansky, and Schwartz report women having hundreds or thousands of contractions in one sensual connection.[19]
Dr. Taylor reports that men are as likely as women to go into these states and have all the experiences enumerated above.[3] In addition, both Brauer[20] and Bodansky[21] discuss male extended orgasm.
Theories for the biological processes required for achieving these states include the progressive and balanced stimulation and elevation of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system; this is evidenced by the tantric practice of using breathing techniques, such as those mentioned in Nik Douglas and Penny Slinger's 1979 book Sexual Secrets: The Alchemy of Ecstasy,[22] to engage the parasympathetic nervous system during sexual activities.

Many men experience multiple orgasms when they are in their twenties, and these almost always include ejaculation. As men enter their thirties, though, changes begin to occur. The refractory phase lasts longer in older men because it takes longer for the penis to refill with blood after a first orgasm with ejaculation. Men can learn to shorten this refractory phase or they can try to achieve orgasm without ejaculation.
In women, multiple orgasms can be defined several ways. The orgasms can be back-to-back responses that have distinct beginnings and ends, or they can be so close that it doesn't feel like any refractory period has occurred.
During extended multiple orgasms experienced by a woman, constant waves of involuntary muscle contractions occur. As the vaginal walls contract, the vaginal fit usually gets tighter. Rather than diminishing the woman's sexual energy, multiple orgasms often get successively more intense.
Multiple orgasms trigger a series of peaks and dips in pleasure. Each peak is higher than the one before; each dip is a period of rest, but the body does not enter a typical refractory or resolution period.
A Variety of Ways to Extend the Sexual Response Cycle
Back-to-back orgasms can occur through clitoral, G-spot, or vaginal stimulation. Typically, if a woman were able to have several clitoral orgasms in a row, they would occur with a distinct beginning and end with a fairly short refractory phase. She would be ready to go again very quickly and could take clitoral stimulation again, though she may have to start very softly the second time around.
In the case of G-spot or vaginal orgasms, they can occur like clitoral ones where the response cycle is repeated in its entirety, or the orgasms could be indistinguishable from one another. There would be no refractory period and the orgasmic state would simply continue — often being experienced as successively more intense rather than diminishing.
Take Yourself into a State of Bliss
Some women report sustaining a state of orgasmic bliss without dips for several hours. While this may be surprising, these are women who have learned to do this through practicing the exercises that are presented in this book. A woman can train herself to experience great amounts of pleasure. This is something any woman can do — with sufficient motivation and focused attention.
To facilitate becoming multiorgasmic, practice the deep-breathing exercises suggested in this book. Also, learn to drive, or enable, your orgasms by consciously increasing the pace of your breathing. A great pattern is to pant into your belly eight to ten times and then take a deep breath in and let it out very slowly through slightly pursed lips. Focus on feeling erotic pleasure in and around your genitals when doing this breathing practice. Repeat as often as you want.

The woman who can't stop orgasming

The following true story was told to me by a woman who chooses to remain anonymous for privacy reasons. If you think you have Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, you can visit this forum for help. I had my first orgasm at the age of 17. I was sitting at my desk at school when all of a sudden, I felt a warm, pulsing feeling in my genital area. My vagina flared up and I couldn't think straight. It was like someone had squeegeed my thoughts away. I was like, whoa, what's that? It felt really erotic and good, but I was also freaked out, scared, and confused. After that, it started happening a few times a day. I searched online for spontaneous orgasms, but all I found was weird porn. It kept getting worse. During my second semester of senior year, I counted orgasms on a sheet of paper. I was having 100 and 200 a day. I ran to hide in the bathroom between classes to relieve the pressure. By the time I started college, the orgasms became even more intense and disruptive, and I was having trouble concentrating. I became really depressed. I didn't know what was wrong with me, and I wasn't getting any better. I cried a lot. I hid in the bathroom. I became violently protective of my privacy. In the beginning, I told everyone I trusted about my condition. People said things like: "You're so lucky!" and "Dude, I'd love to date you." They didn't understand why I wanted it to go away, and labeled me a drama queen. The school psychiatrist thought I was crazy. After my sophomore year, I bought a bunch of vibrators and took medical leave.One day in 2003, a friend sent me an article in the Boston Globe about a newly discovered condition called Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome*. When I read it, I started crying hysterically — it described exactly what I was going through. I immediately made an appointment at the institute the article linked to, and after hours of tests, I was diagnosed with PSAS. My engorged genitalia and hypersensitivity made me a textbook case. Every other doctor had thought I was just a delusional hypochondriac. PSAS feels like having a second heartbeat. No, it's more than that. It's alive — it has its own life force, a mind of its own. I often wonder if this is how teenage boys feel about their erections. My parents pretend my PSAS doesn't exist. It makes me feel uncomfortable and rejected. My mother is very conservative — she has trouble saying the word "orgasm" out loud, and she thinks I'm a pervert because I have toys. A couple months ago, out of the blue, she said, "You still having that orgasm problem?" That was only the second time she asked about it since 2003. I sometimes wish I could make reference to it in normal conversations without feeling like a freak, but I understand that PSAS isn't exactly dinner conversation. Every time I do something, I have to evaluate my situation. Where am I? Are there other people around? How well do I know them? What is the likelihood that, if I don't get someplace private in time, things could get complicated? Can I make noise? (Being vocal isn't necessary, but it helps release more of the pressure.) I avoid triggers — things like music with heavy bass, vibrations from riding a train or an idle car, cold air, musky cologne, darkness, stress, scary movies, romantic movies, unexpected touch, a full bladder. PSAS is completely unrelated to sex drive. Watching sex scenes does nothing for me, but the other day, when a friend put his hand on my back, I found it really hard to contain a screaming orgasm. If my heart rate shoots up too high for too long, I flare up. I avoided exercise and gained a lot of weight. One time, I was hugging a male relative and I felt an orgasm arise. It felt really dirty and wrong, and I totally freaked out. Now, I try to avoid hugs in general unless I feel ready for them. I've been with my boyfriend for about six years, but we still haven't had sex. I don't know if I'll ever be ready to do it. Because of a vulvar pain disorder I have that sometimes comes with PSAS, I know it will hurt like hell. Others who have PSAS say that sex is not satisfying at all — the orgasms associated with sex are nothing compared to the ones induced by the condition. Sometimes I wish I could have sex with him because I think he deserves to have a 'real' girlfriend, but honestly, I just enjoy being held by him and not having it feel inappropriate. He's been very patient and understanding; he's my best friend, and we talk every night. I'm 24 now, and have learned to manage PSAS pretty well. I discovered dancing — it's a great alternative to jogging because it's not as cardio-intensive. As long I take breaks between routines, folk dancing or doing salsa doesn't cause a flare up. Last week, I was at the movies and had to leave twice because I was flaring up. Each time, I ran to the bathroom and tapped my heels on the floor to hear if there was anyone else around. Then I locked myself into a stall, braced myself against the stall door, and let the orgasm run its course. I missed about 15 minutes of the film, but that's just one of the many things that result from managing PSAS and its collateral damage. My orgasms feel like a cosmic joke. I don't know why this happened to me and not someone else. If I didn't have PSAS, I'd be much more outgoing, and I probably would have finished college two years earlier. I'd have a normal sex life. I feel like I'm lugging around a shadow, a ghost that I just can't shake. It depresses me that I'm stuck with it, probably for the rest of my life, but strangely enough, I don't want to be cured instantly of PSAS. It appeared suddenly in my life, and if it disappeared just as suddenly, I would always be looking over my shoulder, and I'm not sure I would know who I was. I would rather have it slowly fade away, but if it doesn't, well, I'm doing my best to make peace with this part of my life. *The name of this condition was recently changed to Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder to remove the stigma that this is a sexual disease. PGAD will be officially recognized in the next edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, which comes out in 2012.

As a result, they began losing even more sight of synergy and harmony with life around them and declined into becoming self-absorbed. Rather than working in harmony with life, they now manipulated life. These structures they created were what we would call structure of worship, of idolatry and of course, religion! This was to funnel the energy more efficiently towards these gods. They began to indirectly feed off these beings energetically, hence the worship. Some of the gods changed more than others and it eventually got to the point where one god in particular whose ego was now spiraling out of control, wanted to be "The God" and rule over the rest. This may come as a surprise to the religious multitudes and may be no surprise at all for others to know that this is the being behind the creation of religion on our planet."

In the first few eras and epochs their realities were based on more of an authoritarian rule and so as a result they attracted the more aggressive and warrior types. This helped them to establish their presence and assert an authority very quickly within our galaxy.

These methods also resulted in the great saga of the Orion Epoch, with a great many wars taking place which transmuted a huge amount of the a Universal Male Warrior Archetypal energy. The Orion Wars saw some of the most intense and vicious battles ever known. The level of technology that was used there was the most sophisticated ever created. The deprivation of spirit at times were horrendous. The tortures that took place and it's methods that were being used were absolutely abominable. Many of the tortures were about cracking the Great Void not only on a cosmic level but also within an individual being. However, after a while the gods came to learn that this method of force is tiresome and risky as some of them fell both physically and energetically descending into the bottom dimensions.

As time passed, some of these gods assimilated at first hundreds, then thousands, then millions of races into false realities and paradigms. Granted, their realities had a very unique and appealing expression, which was part of the attraction for many. Unfortunately, these creations had more of a mesmerizing and smothering effect. There were a multitude of races that played a role but there were to be three star systems that would feature more prominently than any others, Sirius, Orion and the Pleiades.
Much further down the timeline, it was discovered that this solar system and specifically this planetary body were being implanted with a massive amount of biodiversity. Never before had there been so much life placed in one location and so finally it got the attention of this wayward faction of the gods. They were absolutely amazed at how much energy was now flowing in and out of our Sun and this planet. What really took their obsession to levels of frenzy and even insanity was the fact that along with the biodiversity of all life brings represented here in one planetary body, they discovered there was also a life for that had been created which had more genetic material than had ever been seen before. In fact they discovered that this life form had all genetic material in the Universe represented within its embodiment; a genuine fractal of the Universe in a single embodiment. This just made them utterly and insanely jealous of our Earth Human Race because the babies being born here had access to more life force and therefore could access more power than they ever did or ever will as, "the gods!"
As partly mentioned before these are the Beings that throughout the ages here on earth have been approaching humanity and masquerading as "Gods" that at to be worshipped. Their sole intention, because of their outrage and jealousy, is to sabotage what is going on here, to prevent humanity from remembering who we truly are and reconnecting with our Soul Essence. They redirect our energies towards themselves and their paradigms so that they may empower themselves by feeding off our energies and subsequently continue to farm us. The main player within that group is also the "god" behind the religious organizations on our planet.
